I’m deeply curious to hear what JunglePete has to say about this. He hasn’t blogged about it yet, I think he’s busy photoshopping my head onto this image. Who the hell left him in charge of the reunion book in the first place? I mean, er, Pete is going to do a swell job on the reunion book…
I suppose I should ask what other kinds of work JunglePete brings home before I put his place on my list of places to flee should I decide to change my name and go on the lamb from the art world.
Matt left this link in my comments, “Giant Pythons in Florida.” Mom and I were discussing the python menace in Florida when he left the link, which is rather spooky since our conversation had nothing to do with that particular story. (I believe the context was, “People we’d like to feed to the giant pythons,” but that’s a whole other post).
Last night of my mom’s visit. I had a brilliant post constructed in my mind and a martini washed it away.
Oh wait, I know what it was.
I spent time with my mom today for Mother’s Day. (We’re not very good with schedules). We put in a new sunflower bed today and planted seeds for 9 varieties of sunflowers.
I carefully planned out the bed, taking into account size of plant, size of flower, color schemes, and the like. I carefully amended the soil. I’ve mulched around, but not over, the future plants.
Then, mom and I took stock of my handywork and imagined how lovely it’s going to look in a few months.
Then, we remembered that’s where my new sunroom is going.
