I keep meaning to invite Colin Delaney (creator of the excellent site e.politics) to join us for a bowl of pho. He included a recent post of mine in one of his links roundups (thanks!) so that reminded me to start thinking about some fall lunches or dinners or happy hours.

Hello, dcblogs readers!
I see dcblogs.com gave me some link-love for the Mystery of the Frog in the Coffeepot. Come on in, pour yourself a cup of tea, have a cookie, and stay awhile if you’d like. Please, if you’d be so kind, leave your shoes out by the door. I’m too tired to vacuum again this week. Do be sure to check them for frogs before you put them back on, though – those little beasties seem to get into the damndest things around here.
new sites
Samer Farha returns with a new blog. Go visit him and say hi.
Sean Hennessey also has a new site. You should visit him as well.
Welcome back, Washington Post Express readers
Picked up the Washington Post Express to check for Artomatic coverage and saw that I’d been quoted again in the Blog Log, this time about the 32 ounce McDonald’s coffee I recently acquired on the way back from Philadelphia.
I give up
I’ve tried to write this post about a dozen times since a reader passed along the Daily Candy review of SBSS Lightening Gel for Sensitive Areas. I’m not only at a loss for words, but the words I do come up with would increase my spam problem exponentially. I think I’ll just let you go read it for yourself.
