Law and Order UK

How did I not know about Law and Order UK? I feel like such a pop culture failure.

When This Chickadee told me about it, I kinda thought she was kidding.

She wasn’t.

Not only does the show exist, but it co-stars Freema Agyeman who played Martha Jones, the very best companion ever in the history of Doctor Who companions!

I knit with a bunch of total BSG nerds, I can’t believe this show hasn’t ever come up since Jamie Bamber is one of the other co-stars.

Don't blink

I showed Todd Gardner the Doctor Who episode, Blink. It’s probably one of the best episodes – clever and creepy and humorous, all at the same time. I knew Todd was going to a big warehouse full of statues today so I texted him a message: DON’T BLINK!!!

That was probably wrong of me, wasn’t it?

I think this trailer I dug up on you tube isn’t very good, but it was the best I could find there.

She turned those dots on a page into the swirling, shimmering Doctor Who title music – although it is the score’s author, Ron Grainer, who is credited as the composer.

Now David Butler, of Manchester University’s School of Arts, Histories and Cultures has revealed for the first time the existence of 267 tapes found in Ms Derbyshire’s attic when she died in 2001.

And now, a slight Dr. Who digression, with spoilers for the episode aired last night on SciFi and also sort of, but not exactly, for season 1 of Dexter.
