Is it heresy to say that I don’t miss Jon Stewart? And I really love Jon Stewart. But I love John Oliver’s British righteous indignation even more.

I’m feeling the exact same way. Plus, I think Stewart is great at a lot of things and he owns this show as a performance piece, but he’s a terrible interviewer. Although Oliver hasn’t had a “knock it out of the park” interview segment yet, I think it’s only a short matter of time before he really finds that groove.
Hey, no offense to my old classmate David Gregory, who I think is doing an okay job on Meet the Press, but maybe if NBC gives in to pressure and replaces him they can consider Oliver…that could be interesting…
