While we were walking by the Cheesetique this weekend, I noticed that they had a sign up about the arrival of a new batch of buffalo mozzarella. It occured to me that to make buffalo mozzeralla, someone has to actually milk buffalo. Have you ever spent time with a buffalo? It just doesn’t seem like an animal you’d want to milk. Actually, there aren’t any animals, or snakes for that matter, that I want to milk. Ever.
This silly cheese conversation ultimately led me on a ridiculous tour of buffalo ranching supply websites. I think my favorite is DeLaval. Not because I know a damn thing about their company, but because they have an excellent movie library. Alas, my ibook is a Windows Media- Player-free zone so I can’t vouch for the quality of their movies, only for the variety. Even if you can’t play the movies (which probably aren’t as entertaining as they sound anyway) it’s worth a visit just for the picture on the Buffalo Movies index page. Now that’s a handsome beast.
I’m pretty sure none of the videos are as great as Pinky the Cat – how could they be?
