swoooooosh

That was the sound of the last few days rushing by. In between all the crazy of the final artist-deinstallation weekend Husband and I have managed to catch a few Fringe shows.

The Foley Artist, which we wedged into yesterday afternoon, lacked polish but was amusing and had lots of potential. And it was about a sound guy and started with bee jokes so I had a soft spot for it. Plus, it wasn’t a musical, so it also had that going for it.

Today we saw Ed Hammell’s excellent one-man show The Terrorism of Everyday Life. I highly recommend that one, which repeats next weekend, although I’m too lazy to click back onto the link I just posted in order to verify that information. I’m very tired, you’ll have to fend for yourself a bit.

Sadly, we had to sacrifice live-music this weekend, which meant no Samantha Murphy at IOTA last night and no Tortoise at the Black Cat tonight.

I haven’t decided whether to take the computer with me to la florida this week. Might be a while til I see you again so behave yourselves!
