What a historic night!

I bet you’re as exhausted as I am after all the excitement and drama of last night. It was just unreal. I know I’m still reeling. I’ve even gone online early just to make sure it wasn’t some sort of Dewey Beats Truman deal, but alas, it appears to be true. Dude, my heart is breaking. Britney and K-Fed, they just seemed like they were, like, forever, you know? In the crawl last night CNN kept calling him a “rapper-dancer.” Apparently “talentless minstrel” would have seemed rude in this time of national crisis.

So, so sad.

My 90 year old friends have more active social lives than I do (Husband just clued me in that the newspaper was damp not because of a neighbor’s dog but because it’s been raining for two days. I had no idea. That should give you some idea)…Monday’s coffeebreak was enough excitement for a few days so I missed my friends’ group-show opening. Shock and Awe is the 5th annual peace-themed art exhibit at the Warehouse.

I hear it’s an excellent show – I’ve even heard that from artist’s who aren’t in it.
