They found me! It must mean something

Poor Husband often gets to hear how someday we’re going to have enough property to adopt our own herd of [tag]burros[/tag]. (They’ll keep the [tag]goats[/tag] company). I used to take care of a trio of adorable donkeys back in Florida, and the place I boarded my horse had many adopted Mustangs. Actually, every barn I’ve ridden at in Virginia has had some. They’re rather amusing to watch in the pastures with those huge Warmbloods that have become all the rage with the Eventers and Dressage riders.

But I digress…

Husband’s not going to be overjoyed to come home and see that we got a card from [tag]Wild Burro Rescue[/tag] and so I’m all wound up again about how we need lots and lots of critters.

OK. I don’t want a whole herd of burros, but a couple of them would be nice.

Nah, he just wants you to hurry up and move down here and get that place out in the country so you can keep my goats and alpacas and donkeys.

And I still find it deeply, deeply weird that this postcard is from you. I wonder if my aunt jane would have thought anything of me calling and thanking her for the postcard. Probably not. heh.
