We watched [tag]Transformers[/tag] last night. It was too long. They could have trimmed it down perfectly by cutting every scene with the Defense Analysts. If you saw it, you know what I’m talking about. Not only are they superfluous and not giving us any information we don’t get elsewhere, but they’re boring. And then they just leave them somewhere thirty minutes from the end of the movie and I bet audiences really didn’t care any more than we did.
I think Rex Reed’s assessment, excerpted at Rotten Tomatoes, says it best, “With Transformers, director Michael Bay has once again claimed the year’s top honors for loud, stupid filmmaking.”
Honestly, I thought it was a waste of perfectly good painkillers, but at least the robots were cool.
My basically similar review. We were already having a bad day when we went to see it.
Hey, I don’t think my link worked: http://www.hey-you.com/?p=70
I don’t know what went wrong with that first link. Huh. I wonder if I did something weird to it when I approved the comment because I swear it worked in the email. but maybe it didn’t., I can’t remember that far back, it was all of yesterday
