Holiday Gift Guide, part two: Poison Control

When I was restoring the archives I noticed that the 2001 and 2002 gift guide posts were full of bad links, so I’ll try to update the guide this year.

[tag]Mr. Yuk[/tag] t-shirts, I can tell you from experience, make awesome gifts. Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh sells shirts, as well as bulk quantities of Mr. Yuk magnets and stickers. (The stickers look great as Christmas Card seals). There are people selling items on cafe press with the Mr. Yuk image, but they’re much more expensive and the money doesn’t even support [tag]Children’s Hospital[/tag].

[tag]The National Capital Poison Control Center[/tag] offers e-cards with the poison control song, for those relatives you can’t be bothered to send a card. You can also order individual magnets and sheets of stickers from them for free. (Not in the DC area? Here’s a link to other [tag]poison control[/tag] centers.)

Tune in tomorrow for: surgical supplies for everyone on your list!
