Curse of the Demon & Fiend Without a Face double-feature

Last night it was a double feature for us: Curse of the Demon (aka Night of the Demon) and Fiend Without a Face.

Husband rented Curse of the Demon sort of at random, remembering it was pretty good. The odd thing is that we had watched the fetid Mothman Prophesy the night before and realized that so much of that movie is obviously “borrowed” right from Curse of the Demon. I’d have to watch them both again to explain it properly, and I’d enjoy Demon again (which starred Dana Andrews, the oddly heart-throbby character actor answer to Richard Gere, minus the gerbil rumors) but would rather eat my own feet than watch Mothman again.

Oh, and Demon opens with a shot of Stonehenge and a lot of pompous narration. We were laughing so hard we had to pause it.
