Phil Nesmith at Irvine Contemporary, Erin Antognoli in Shutterbug

Everyone who’s seen Erin Antognoli’s work knows it’s amazing. There’s a very nice feature about her in Shutterbug magazine. I happened to pick up the issue to flip through in San Francisco while I was killing a few minutes, and was pleased to see her in it’s pages. (This is a magazine I wouldn’t normally look at, so it was quite random). Then I forgot again until I was catching up on her blog just now, so now I’ll share it with you.

And speaking of interesting photographers, Phil Nesmith’s gallery talk is tonight at Irving Contemporary. Don’t you want to know how he creates those amazing photograms? Of course you do!

I was going to blog one of Phil’s images from flickr, but he doesn’t allow it, so instead I’ll post a random image of Blue the Dog that I took this past weekend in San Francisco.

Blue

Isn’t he precious? He’s a Catahoula leopard mix, a Katrina rescue from New Orleans.
