Several Corgis have moved into the neighborhood. It was, truth be told, only a few days ago that I realized there were not one, not two, but three Corgis. Since I can’t remember any of their names, I just call them all Bob. The owner probably thinks I’m weird, but it’s too hard to explain that it’s a tribute to Bob the Corgi. And also, I’m a little weird.
Flatterization! Nothing wierd about that.
Could call ’em all Queen Elizabeth or Queenie for short, too.
Well, everytime I see them I do think of an episode from the short-lived cooking show for dogs Three Dog Bakery, where they made Corgi Crumpets. A recipe they said they whipped up in honor of the queen and her brood (of corgis). Poor little dogs, they just want their legs back…
